NSI provides the clinician with the simplest and minimally invasive system in order to be able to successfully apply immediate loading implantology.
The new NSI IMPLANT 3D software for guided implantology makes the implant planning service dedicated to the insertion of its products extremely simple and effective.
Single phase implant insertion with surgical guide
Let’s see a concrete example: 3.6x 20mm basal implant insertion.
With a single 2 mm drill it is possible to create a bone tunnel oriented to the correct insertion of the implant, in a minimally invasive way with a single drill.
In fact, implant planning allows the creation of the bone tunnel by exploiting all the cortices and the most interesting areas, safely avoiding anatomical limitations and areas at risk.
Thanks to the particular implant shape, the profile of the coils and the search for the best cortical support point even in the worst cases, it will be possible to satisfy the patient’s needs and apply a fixed prosthesis with immediate load.
Minimum operative invasivity
The advantages are many: minimally invasive, precision, safety and containment of intra and post-operative times.
This is possible thanks to the particular NSI monophasic implants, which require a single dedicated drill for insertion, and to the 3D planning on DICOM data – dental scan imported on NSI IMPLANT 3D.
This software was developed in exclusive collaboration between NSI and Medialab Srl, a well-known software company in the dental sector that has simplified, made it safer and easier to use the insertion of NSI implants, in particular the monophasic ONE PIECE.
Training and direct assistance
NSI also provides a training platform, providing protocols and direct assistance for any dentist wishing to approach guided implantology, with the ability to plan the clinical case step by step.
The result of the NSI IMPLANT 3D planning can then be accepted, and locked with a password, by the professional who will then directly receive the related devices (surgical template, reproduction of the jaws, study model and temporary elements) within 24 hours of approval of the project
Live clinical case design
The 3D planning project aims to facilitate and simplify the clinical activity of the dentist and at the same time to make the implant atraumatic for the patient as well as solving the problem in a single session.
How to access the service
Three simple steps:
- obtain the radio-opaque 3D marker
- upload the DICOM and STL files of the model related to the clinical case
- book an appointment with the NSI specialist for the creation of the project
The clinician will have to equip himself with the marker, then simply upload the DICOM files to our portal and a scan of the models in STL format of the case to be developed.
The planning of the case and the design of the personalized surgical guide will be managed online with the direct support of the NSI opinion leaders.

Personalized medical record
A personalized medical record will be provided which will contain:
- a global image of the jaws with the implants inserte
- a single sectional image of each implant placed
- an image of the relative surgical protocol to be used for each implant
- an unambiguous guarantee of originality of the NSI systems connected to the relative serial number for each system supplied
- a NSI implant passport for traceability and easy recognition of the implanted medical device
