Basal implants are very sharp and can thread the hard laminar pits, the most resistant ones, to make them a solid support for immediate prosthetic loading.

This first anchoring allows stabilization of the implant apex in cortical support, thus concluding and finalizing the surgery performed with the bicortical technique.
